As a player, Nadine earned second team All-Big 10 honors for field goals made (118), fifth in assists (357), and seventh in steals (177) during her senior year after two straight honorable mention honors. She still ranks fourth in the 3-point Hawkeye record book.


After graduation, she played overseas in France, Poland, Israel, and with the WNBA as the 19th pick overall in 1998 by New York Liberty. Also during that season, Nadine played with the Sacramento Monarchs. While playing in Israel, she played for Israel’s women’s national coach Eli Rabi and led Bnei Yehuda to the Championship playoffs for the first time in club history. In Poland, she helped lead her Color Cap Rybnik to the final four in Poland’s national championship for the first time.
